The phenomenon that things can’t mirror the image of themselves is known as chirality.Chirality,the order of life and organization of the foundation,is playing a very important role in the nature and life.The widely applications of chiral materials that include circularly polarized luminescent materials(CPL),electrochemiluminescent materials(ECL),information storage,and bioproducts have attracted great interest of people.In this paper,three kinds of chiral photons materials were synthesized by using perylene as chromophore,fluorene and carbazole as skeleton structural units,and(S)-1-bromo-3,7-dimethyloctane as chiral side chains,whose properties like circularly polarized light and electrochemiluminescent are studied.The main work and innovation as follows:(1)In this chapter,in order to construct D-A structure chiral material,we designed the carbazole group with perylene as the skeleton structure.The results show that the small chiral molecule that has an asymmetric factor of 10-4 not only exhibits good circularly polarized fluorescence signals in the THF and THF-H2 O systems,but also has a good CPL performance in the unannealed film state whose asymmetry factor is three times higher than above two states.All above provide practical and theoretical support for the applications of circular polarization fluorescent devices.(2)In this chapter,the functional chiral fluorene polymer material with fluorene as the backbone was obtained by utilizing fluorenone as the raw material,which was investigated in many aspects include thermostability,electrochemical behavior and optical properties in solution,aggregation state and solid state.The results reveal that the chiral material has good thermal stability and good circular polarization fluorescence in single molecule state,aggregate state and solid state,whose intermolecular force in the aggregation state causes self-assembly to affect its accumulation structure.It is surprising that the functional chiral fluorene polymer can be more localized in the annealed state,which contributes to the asymmetric factor more than 40% and the CPL signal enhanced.(3)The functional chiral material,with D-A structure,which was obtained by using butyl ester-modified perylene derivatives as the main body whose bay area was introduced strong electron-donating carbazole groups has excellent properties.The results suggest that the chiral material can show a strong and stable ECL signal without the co-reactant and the participation of O2 is result in a very intense electron transfer between the donor and the receptor,The luminous intensity is more than twice as high as in the anaerobic state,which make this compound become potential sensitive tool to detect trace amounts of reactive oxygen and monitor singlet oxygen.
