The rapid development of engineering blasting technology,which result in use of explosive energy in all areas,has brought great convenience and benefits and attracted the attention of many scientific research workers.The interval charge has shown its superiority compared to the coupling charge technology,but it can't be multiple sub-section and need large quantities of equipment.Based on the research and engineering situation,the author introduced the technology of water medium coupling interval charging blasting with small diameter explosive.The research has important theoretical and practical significance of improving blasting energy utilization and fine control blasting effect.The influencing factors and superiority were analyzed by theoretical analysis,numerical calculation and numerical simulation.The results of research as follows:(1)The technology of water medium coupling interval charging blasting with small diameter explosive was proposed by analysising disadvantage of the existing technology.(2)The reasons which include pipeline effect and diameter effect of explosives failed was proposed by summarizing the experience.The diameter of the explosive should be greater than the critical diameter.The length of explosive can be controlled in accordance with the pipeline effect.The pipe effect model which based on explosive gas radial diffusion was established.(3)The numerical results shown that the main influencing factors of pipeline effect were the performance of explosive and the structure of charge by using gray correlation analysis.(4)The coupling charge model of water medium and air medium was established by ANSYS/LS-DYNA.The results shown that the pipeline effect in air medium was more obvious.(5)The physical quantity which include the hole wall and shock wave area of coupling charge and water medium coupling was calculated by using MATLAB.The results shown that the energy transfer was more,the energy utilization rate was higher,and the energy distribution was more uniform in the water medium.(6)The technology of water medium coupling interval charging blasting with small diameter explosive can effectively improve the energy utilization rate and reduce the use of explosives,which was beneficial to blasting effect.(7)The charge structure was been designed and used in a quarry blasting scheme design.Through the comparison of the design,the results shown that the new technology reduced the uses of supplies and the expansion of disasters.
