Water based lubricants are faced with many problems such as lubricity,corrosion resistance and poor stability.So it is very important to develop water-based lubricant.Nitrogenous heterocyclic compounds have a compact chemical structure,excellent thermal stability,superior tribological properties.Imidazoline has good water solubility and good corrosion resistance.Therefore,the combination of imidazoline and nitrogen heterocyclic functional groups,it is of great significance to synthesize water-based lubrication additives containing imidazole groups,and to investigate the water-soluble,anti-corrosion and Tribological properties.In this paper,six kinds of imidazoline derivatives with different chain length were synthesized,three kinds of amide fatty acid imidazoline,three kinds of benzotriazole acetic imidazoline.Study on the tribological properties of water based lubricant and the corrosion inhibition performance of YG8 cemented carbide and Q235 steel in hydrochloric acid environment.EDS-SEM and XPS were used to study the corrosion inhibition mechanism and friction mechanism.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The synthesized fatty acid imidazoline has good water solubility and antifriction and antiwear ability.TEPA imidazoline has the best extreme pressure and anti-wear ability.Extreme pressure value of 333 N,it is 2.4 times the water.When three types of lubricants are 2.0 wt %,the wear scar diameter is the smallest,and TEPA imidazoline is the most stable.The order of antifriction performance is DETA>TETA>TEPA imidazoline.The average friction coefficient is 0.06 when DETA imidazole 0.5wt%,concentration is minimal,and the friction coefficient keeps steady with time.Through the surface analysis of the steel balls,the TEPA imidazoline wear scar are shallow and the wear surfaces are smooth.Through Sem,eds and XPS Analysis,the nitrogen-containing organic film produced on the surface of the steel balls played the effect of polar pressure anti-wear and antifriction.(2)Fatty acid imidazoline as corrosion inhibitor,it has good corrosion inhibition effect in HCL solution.YG8 cemented carbide in the corrosion inhibitor concentration of 1.0wt% for 15 minutes,it played a very good corrosion inhibition effect,while Q235 steel is soaked 60 min.Through SEM+EDS observation cemented carbide knife head soaked in corrosion inhibitor 72 h,found blank group cemented carbide surface defect is serious,obviously have WC particles shedding,however,there was little change in the surface of the three kinds of lubricants before and after soaking,indicating that the three additives had good corrosion inhibition performance.Determination of Co ion content in immersion solution and found that the concentration of Co ion in three kinds of additives was 1.0mg/L below.However,the Co of the aqueous solution is 6.51mg/L,it is confirmed that the corrosion of YG8 cemented carbide is caused by the precipitation of Co in the binder phase,which leads to the loss of WC powder.The CO content in imidazole solution is 0.57mg/L.Through electrochemical corrosion tests,the TEPA imidazole is not only good corrosion inhibition efficiency of YG8 cemented carbide,1.0wt% corrosion efficiency is74.11%,and the corrosion inhibition efficiency of Q235 steel is still the best of three,and 1.0wt% corrosion rate reaches 53.32%.(3)Benzotriazole Imidazole has good water solubility and excellent corrosion inhibition performance,but antiwear and antifriction properties are generally.Three kinds of additives with low load have excellent anti-wear ability,98 N,2.0wt%BTA-TEPA Imidazoline wear scar diameter(WSD)min 0.395 mm.But onlyBTA-TEPA imidazole is relatively stable when high loads,and the other two imidazoline can fluctuate greatly.Three kinds of additives have good corrosion inhibition effect on Q235 steel and YG8 cemented carbide.The inhibition rate of BTA-DETA imidazoline on YG8 cemented carbide is 51.3%,while the inhibition rate of BTA-TEPA imidazoline to Q235 Steels is 52.78%.Determination of CO ion in immersion solution and found that the concentration of CO ion in three additives was 2.0mg/L above and The lowest concentration of Co ion is BTA-TEPA imidazoline as 2.35mg/L.More than twice times higher than the fatty acid imidazoline,the benzotriazole imidazole in inhibiting the leaching ability of co ions is weaker than that of fatty acid imidazoline.(4)For YG8 cemented carbide,the corrosion inhibition of single fatty acid imidazole is greater than that of single benzotriazole imidazole,which is superior to two products and T305 compound product,the average corrosion inhibition exceeds60%.However,benzotriazole imidazole derivatives and T305 compound have a higher corrosion inhibition performance for YG8 cemented carbide,but the best corrosioninhibition is still the single-fatty acid imidazoline.For Q235 steel,the corrosion inhibition performance of benzotriazole imidazoline is stronger than that of fatty acid imidazoline,however,the corrosion inhibition performance of the T305 complex has been greatly improved,and the maximum corrosion rate of the compound ratio DT1 reaches 86.17%.When the ratio is consistent,the BDT2 's corrosion inhibition efficiency is much greater than that of the other complex proportion of the corrosion inhibitor YG8,and the best compound agent is DT2 for Q235 steel.
