In daily life and industrial production,lubricating oil additives could effectively improve the tribological properties of the base oil,reduce mechanical wear,and increase the efficiency of energy use.Traditional lubricating oil additives contain elements such as sulfur,phosphorus,and chlorine,which cause severe corrosion to equipment and cause huge environmental pollution.As environmental pollution and energy consumption problems become more and more serious,the research and development of environmentally friendly lubricating oil additives is particularly important.Based on this,nitrogen-containing,boron-containing and nitrogen-containing boron-based lubricating oil additives are synthesized without sulfur,phosphorus and chlorine and other elements,environmentally friendly.Fistly six types of lubricant additives were synthesized by modifying benzotriazole,introducing alkyl chains and hydroxyl-containing carbon chains.Oil solubility experiments show that the additives containing hydroxyl groups have poor oil solubility in the base oil but the alkyl chain modification additives have better oil solubility.In this paper,the thermal stability,copper corrosion and tribological properties of four alkyl chain modification additives were tested,and the optimal concentration of additives in different base oils was explored.Secondly an alcohol ether type borate ester additive was synthesized,and its synthesis process was optimized.The best reaction conditions were obtained: the water carrying agent was toluene,the reaction temperature was 130 ?,and the reaction time was 12 h.Tested the hydrolytic stability,copper corrosion and tribological properties of additives,and explored the optimal concentration of additives in different base oils.Finally two ionic liquid additives with benzotriazole derivatives as cations and borate esters as anions were synthesized.Test the oil solubility,thermal stability,copper corrosion and tribological properties of additives,and explore the optimal concentration of additives in different base oils.
