In the producing injection moulding process,the injection mold directly affect the appearance of the plastic injection products.Also,it determines the injection products manufacturing cost and the development cycle.In recent years,the injection molding industry is developing rapidly.Along with the progress of science and technology,the design of the injection mold,production and its manufacturing will have higher requirements.This paper carries out “a mold with multiple cavities” injection mold structure design based on NC electrical box base as well as the 3D design on the injection mold of NC electrical box base.Then it goes on structure analysis and material selections for electrical appliance box bases.After consulting relevant information,it reasonably chooses injection machines and checks various key parameters of the injection machine.It designs the mainstream way,positioning ring,distributary channel,gate,slag hole,pull rod and other gating systems of the mould.In addition,it also designs the concave and convex die structure of the moulding parts,the working size,the standard mould base,clamping guide mechanism and the launch mechanism.Then it simulates to complete the injection molding process with the Moldflow flow analysis software.Also,It establishes the NC electric box base mould to have the gridding division,the finite element analysis and the model material selections.With the one module and four cavities design,it creates a circuit of the cavity,gating system and cooling system.Through the data analysis,it ensures that the mold design can satisfy the requirements of the filling,cooling and ejection moldings in different stages.Based the injection mould design of the NC electrical box,it has carried on the systematic and in-depth analysis and research on the process parameters of the product structure and and the performance parameters of the injection molding machine involved in the injection moulding process with the the method of combining the theoretical analysis and the finite element simulation.It has important practical significance for the reasonable selection of technological parameters in the process of practical production,guiding the optimization design on the injection mold and shortening the design cycle of the injection mould.The main contents of this paper include:1.Analyzing the plastic structure of NC electrical box and determined the material used in the injection molded parts,the quantity of the cavities,and the revise on the technological parameter of the injection machine,including the largest injection volume,injection molding machine pressure and the revise on the clamping force and the relative size of the mould.2.According to the design principle of the mould,it carries out the anaylsis on the injection mould structure based on UG.In terms of the flowing system,it runs a reasonable optimization on the main channel,shunt channel,molding parts,steering mechanism and the launching mechanism.What's more,it uses the mold flow analysis software to undertake the simulating analysis on the plastic injection molding process to replace the trying and repeatedly repairing process in traditional mold production,which improves the mould manufacturing process and reduces the development costs.Finally,through analyzing the results of the model flow software data,it evaluates the feasibility of the mould program.
