Comparing with traditional guide,hydrostatic guideway has lots of advantages,such as high efficiency,high precision,ultraprecise and high speed and so on.Sohydrostatic guideway would be widely used in large,heavy machine tools,precision machine tools,other workbench and other moving parts and other core parts.Affected by its working characteristics,the change of hydrostatic guideway oil film thickness is caused by the change of load fluctuation.So the accuracy of machine tools will be affected directly.Therefore,the following research has been done in this paper for improving the stiffness of hydrostatic guideway,which controls the oil film fluctuation of hydrostatic guideway:(1)In this paper,the working principle and characteristics of hydrostatic guideway are introduced based on the fluid mechanics.The working principle of Hydrostatic Gulideway with constant pressure oil supply system and constant quantity oil supply system have been analysized.The advantages and disadvantages of them are compared.The performance of Hydrostatic Gulideway with constant quantity oil supply system is analysized.Some factors such as the oil cavity structure and effective bearing area how to influence the carrying capacity of the oil cavity unit and stiffness of hydrostatic guideway are discussed theoretically.According to the above,ANSYS-CFX are used to simulating the flow field and pressure of oil cavity of hydrostatic guideway with constant quantity oil supply system that has different oil cavity structure,different oil seal edge size of oil cavity,different width and different depth of the oil ring.The result studied will provide some reference information for designing hydrostatic guideway.(2)Paper use of Workbench to analysis the impact of the oil cavity pressure by the single oil cavity in sealing groove on the surface of the location,depth and width,and determine the optimal matching parameters of oil tank.According to the results of simulation,designing a high liquid resistance of newhydrostatic guideway,and through the fluid-structure interaction to comparison the carrying capacity and stiffness of new hydrostatic guideway with high liquid resistance and traditional hydrostatic guideway.The results show that the performance of the new hydrostatic guideway with high liquid resistance,its carrying capacity and stiffness,is superior to that of traditional hydrostatic guideway.(3)on the basis of theoretical research,two different structure quantitatively oil supply type closed hydrostatic guideway workbench are designed.In order to compare the performance of the two kinds of hydrostatic guideway,the paper test the performance of two different structure hydrostatic guideway,and based on the testing to verify the new hydrostatic guideway with high liquid resistance in carrying capacity and stiffness,are better than the traditional hydrostatic guideway.
