| The product obtained by rolling process has been occupied a large proportion in the aluminum manufacture.It is very important to take effective measure to control technology parameters,and to prevent the occurrence of the fission,the strip bulge and the alligator phenomenon,in the hot rolling process.This paper used the finite element methodtobuild the three-dimensional geometrical modeling of Aluminum Alloy ingotin the hot rolling process.With the help of DEFORM-3D software to research causes of alligator phenomenon during the hot rolling process.Based on the calculation of the shape deformation coefficient(l/(?)) acquired the rolling rulers to effectivecontrol alligator length in the multi-pass hot rolling process.Through orthogonal test found the primary factor that effects on the alligator length in the single pass rolling process is the reduction rate,the second is the diameter of roller and the rotational speed,tempter’s factor is the least.By using the differential equation method based on ideal state to derived mathematical model of calculates the alligator length in themulti-pass hot rolling process;meanwhile the factors of influence alligator length to be verified include reduction rate,rollerdiameter and rotational speed.The experimental results show that: It can achieve the best effect to control alligator length,at the first rolling stage take the 10% to 15%reduction,in the middle rolling stage adopt 20% to 30%reduction,and the last rolling stage used 15% to 20%reduction. |
