5052 alloy cast-rolling is a new technique which domestic aluminum alloy steel companies are dream to master.The main problem of this new technique is central segregation,and pulse current has an important influence on aluminum alloy solidification organization.Study the effect of pulse current acting on 5052 aluminum alloy cast-rolling organization,and determining reasonable parameters of pulse current industry has great theoretical significance and application value on 5052 aluminum alloy cast-rolling technique.Paper studied the pulse peak current,pulse frequency and duty ratios influence on the 5052 aluminum alloy cast-rolling organization.The studies have shown that with the peak current,pulse frequency and duty ratio increasing,alloy macro solidification structure gradually transform from bulky columnar crystal into fine equiaxed structure and equiaxed grain zone area also increased,the aluminum alloy grain size refinement effect is obvious;But when the pulse peak current and pulse rate is too large,the refining effect is not obvious;with the peak current,pulse frequency and duty ratio increasing,the 5052 aluminum alloy cast-rolling strip center segregation are improved obviously.When adding Al-Ti-B refining agent on 5052 aluminum alloy,We have gotten similar regular.with the peak current,pulse frequency and duty ratio increasing,macro roll casting alloy organization had different degree of refinement.For pickling and anode effect of roll casting billet,we can find that with the peak current,pulse frequency and duty ratio increasing,5052 aluminum alloy cast-rolling center segregation was improved significantly.Through the analysis of the grain shape,grain size and composition uniformity of pulse current,we determined the best process parameters of effect of EPC on the solidification of 5052 aluminum alloy:peak current 300A,pulse frequency of 50Hz,20%duty.
