For the management of the production in the flexible manufacturing system(FMS)in the manufacturing company, the tool management is one of the most important factors, which could largely influence the production efficiency and economic profit. The process of production will be strongly influenced if the management system is designed to be fuzzy and low efficiency,on the other hand,a reasonable and comprehensive tool management system could provide the tool on time for the FMS and will provide a comprehensive information about the tool management, which will be benefit to improve the profit and lower the work cost of the whole company.By analyzing the real need of the working floor and the tool management system from home and abroad,an intelligent identification and management system of cutting tool were built. The major content of the thesis could be concluded as follows:Firstly,a mode of tool multi-parameters management based on tool class is built.Tool code and tool selecting strategy were also studied. At the same time,RFID system was studied and built, relative software form was programmed, the tool management strategy based on the RFID system was designed.Secondly, through analyzing the relationship of the tool wear and the affecting factors,a GRNN neural network based tool wear prediction model is built, the particle filter method was then used to modify the prediction results of time series, the model was proven to be stable and efficiency, and better than the traditional neural network method modified by the Kalman filter,it could be helpful to predict the non-linear relationship between the tool wear and relative cutting parameters, which also provide a foundation for the tool life management. Finally, the intelligent tool life-cycle management system is designed in B/S model. This system realize the function of tool specification management, tool assemble and split management, borrowing management, purchase management, inventory management and so on.The tool life-cycle management is realized by the implementation of these functions. |
