Polyether polyols are the main raw materials for preparing polyurethane,and their kind,molecular weight,structure and functionality will affect the performance of polyurethane.The traditional synthetic process of polyether polyols is adopting the anionic catalyst to initiate the polymerization and the most commonly used catalyst is KOH.The reaction is more moderate and easily to control.The cost of catalyst is also low,but the reaction process has many shortcomings,such as,prone to chain transfer,low molecular weight,wide molecular weight distribution,high unsatisfactory.In this paper,the method of catalytic polymerization of double metal cyanide catalyst(DMC)has been adopted.polyether polyols were synthesized by using 303 polyether polyols and bisphenol A as the starting agents,DMC as the catalyst,propylene oxide and epichlorohydrin as monomers.Then the polyurethane foams were prepared to be studied the effects of raw materials,processes and formulations on the reaction rate and the performance of polyurethane foams.The main research contents are as follows:1.Synthesize polyether polyols and study its process by using 303 polyether polyols as initiators,DMC as the catalyst and propylene oxide as the monomer.The results showed that with the oil bath temperature,the amount of DMC catalyst,the amount of propylene oxide monomer and the speed increasing,the reaction would be faster,the induction time would be shorter but there was an optimal value whose oil bath temperature was 130 ℃,DMC catalyst was 0.104pbw(mass fraction of 100 g propylene oxide),propylene oxide: 303 polyether polyols was 10: 1 and rotating speed was 250 r/min;2.The self-made polyether polyols were used as raw materials to prepare polyurethane foams according to the foaming formula.The effects of the components on the foaming reaction rate and mechanical properties were studied.The results showed that water,the cross-linking agent,the foam density,the temperature and the silicone oil can affect the ureido content of the polymer,the degree of perfection of the cross-linked network,the degree of disorder of the internal structure,the maturation degree of the foam and the degree of silicification.And we get the best synthesis formula whose water was 4.2pbw(mass fraction of 100 g polyether polyols),triethanolamine was 1.0pbw,foam density was 0.0521 g·cm-3,material temperature was 25℃,mold temperature was 35℃,silicone oil was 1.0pbw,A-1 was 0.0875 pbw and A-33 was 5.0pbw;3.Synthesize polyether polyols and study its process by taking bisphenol A as initiators,DMC as the catalyst and epichlorohydrin as the monomer.The results showed that with the oil bath temperature,the amount of DMC catalyst and the amount of epichlorohydrin monomer increasing,the reaction would be faster and the induction time would be shorter,but there was an optimal value whose oil bath temperature was 140 ℃,DMC catalyst was 0.08pbw(mass fraction of 100 g epichlorohydrin),epichlorohydrin: bisphenol A was 15: 1.And the reaction time was 3h,the reaction condition would be the best;4.Synthesize polyether polyols and study its process by using bisphenol A as initiators,DMC as the catalyst and propylene oxide as the monomer.The results showed that with the oil bath temperature,the amount of DMC catalyst,the amount of propylene oxide monomer and the stirring speed increasing,the reaction would be faster and the induction time would be shorter,but there was an optimal value whose DMC catalyst was 1.08pbw(mass fraction of 100 g propylene oxide),oil bath temperature was 130℃,propylene oxide: bisphenol A was 10: 1,stirring rate was 270 r / min.
