Welding plays a very important role in modern industrial production.As an important device in welding production,welding equipment also has an indispensable position.In recent years,the welding technology is developing towards automation,networking,information and intelligence,The traditional machines are transformed to digital or replaced by digital welding machines.The data acquisition and monitoring of the digital welding machine can not only improve the welding production efficiency,and further improve the level of mechanization and automation of welding production through the combination of technology,information technology and management concept.Through the analysis of the digital welding machine monitoring system requirements,the CAN bus is used to transmit information,As the software platform,Visual C++ 6.0 is used to develop data acquisition software and the client program.Based on that,the remote monitoring system of digital welding machine is build and the system realizes the real-time monitoring and management of the digital welding machine.Firstly,the overall architecture of digital welding machine monitoring system is designed in this paper.And the system is divided into equipment and sensing layer,control layer,data layer and information management layer,which is the research focus of information management.Information management layer mainly includes data acquisition software,data storage and client software.The data acquisition software is used to collect welding information,and the DAT file is used to realize the welding information storage and view.Secondly,the paper design and realize the function of each part of monitoring system client software.Including the management of basic information for the welding machine,the process specification settings of one welding machine,the alarm parameter settings,the real-time dynamic curve display of welding parameters,the storage of welding data,the warn of fault alarms,the view of alarm message and the observation of welder history curve.According to the history curve and alarm information,the system can assess weld quality.Finally,the function of the system is tested by virtual device which is designed and developed by ourselves.The test results show that the system is safe and reliable,and the requirement of system design is realized.
