The Research On Grinding Technology Of Ball End Milling Based On The Three Parallel Universal Joint CNC Grinder

As an indispensable element,tools are used in manufacturing more and more widely.The extensive use of tool also makes grinding catches more and more attention,especially the grinding of reedge cutting tools with complex structure,which is vital for the enterprises to improve production efficiency and reduce production costs.Production of manufacturers in Colleges and Scientific research institutions at home or abroad have researched and developed different types of tool grinding machine,however,without exception,these machine tools are tandem structure,parallel structure forms of cutter grinding machine bed hardly be put into practical applications.Northeastern University had independently designed and manufactured a three parallel Cardan CNC blade grinding machine,which has achieved the helical drill point and complex helical drill point by grinding,and grinding quality and efficiency are relatively high.In order to expand the application of the grinding machine,this artical grinding the helical ball mill based on the machine.Obviously,it has strong practical value.The main contents include the following contents:(1)Introduces the research status of parallel mechanism and ball milling at home and abroad(2)Introduced the structure,motion characteristics and specific functions of this three parallel CNC tool grinding machine in detail,and deduces the kinematic equations,obtained the functional analytic expression of parallel rod length and head space swing angle(3)Based on the Three Parallel NC machine,established the mathematical model of ball end mill with "s" blade curve and its first flank through coordinate transformation,and analyzed and simulated its curve and first flank by MATLAB.(4)Prepared the control program of grinding helical ball head 1 milling cutter and conducted grinding experiments,analyzed the grinding results and improve the control program.
