Design And Implementation Of The Copier Scanning Controller

A copier is a kind of office equipment which is the organic combination of scanning,copying and printing.In recent years,with the rapid development of computer technology,the copier has been widely used.But because the copier technical barriers are very high,over the years our country has not really mastered the core technology of copiers.Most of the copiers we use come from foreign merchant.There is a great security risk with the use of foreign brands of copiers.And there is no secret to government or business.This paper studies and realizes the related technology of copier scanning controller for the localization and securitization of laser copier project.This paper presents the copier scanning controller based on SOPC by analysis of existing copier scanning controller and programmable logic technology.Based on the requirement of image scaling function,this paper designs and realizes the arbitrary proportion of image scaling module according to the analysis of bilinear interpolation algorithm,which is a better way to solve the problem of slow scaling speed compared with the software approach.Based on the requirement of image rotation function,in the design,DDR2 SDRAM is used as the buffer of the image data.In view of the size of the image processed by the copier,the conventional storage method of the image data in DDR2 can not meet the rapid copying at 90°rotation,the paper adopts a method of image block storage,using this method,the design and implementation of image rotation module greatly improve the speed of image rotation.After completing the design and implementation of the image scaling module and the image rotation module,the two modules are encapsulated into IP core.Then integrate them with the AFE analog front end of the SPI interface module,the scan motor motion control module and the AM335 x communication interface module together and build SOPC system.Finally,the image scaling module and image rotation module are verified,and the simulation results and the system function test show that the research results meet the design requirements.The design and implementation of copier scanning controller based on SOPC,not only reduces the complexity and cost of the design,but also improve the performance of the scanning controller.Based on the hardware implementation of image scaling and image rotation moudle greatly improves the speed at which the copier is scaling and rotating.Results of the research and design in this paper have certain reference value for the design of the high speed copier.
