| In recent years,while developing new oil and gas wells,the state has also increased its efforts to manage old oil and gas wells.During the service process of oil and gas well pipe strings,there may be problems such as diameter expansion,diameter reduction,deformation and even damage,which affect the production safety and production of oil and gas wells.Therefore,accurately grasping the damage of the oil and gas well string is of great significance for studying the damage mechanism of the string,taking protective measures and formulating repair plans.For pipe string damage detection,the paper focuses on the method of pipe string damage detection and three-dimensional modeling based on laser visualization.Based on the visual inspection technology of oil and gas wells,this paper proposes a laser visual inspection and pipe string modeling method.The method is mainly divided into the following steps:(1)Scaning the inner wall of the pipe string with a ring laser,and using visual inspection equipment to record the scanning process;(2)Correcting the distortion of the video image with camera calibration technology;(3)Extracting the boundary data of laser aperture in video images through the edge detection technology,image morphology processing and image boundary tracking technology;(4)Using eccentricity correction,sampling and quantization,and symmetric interpolation to solve the problems of non-concentricity,unequal width,unclosed boundary,and inconsistent length and number of sample points,etc;(5)Using the processed string data to construct a three-dimensional string model and evaluating string defects.Guided by laser visual inspection and pipe string modeling methods,based on the Video Log visual inspection system developed by this research group,a laser visual inspection system and pipe string 3D modeling software system are designed.The laser visual inspection system mainly completes image acquisition.The three-dimensional modeling software system of the pipe string can achieve the three-dimensional modeling and defect assessment of the pipe string.A laser visual inspection system is used to detect the deformed pipe string with an inner diameter of 123 mm,and the collected video images are processed using the pipe string 3D modeling software to obtain a 3D model of the pipe string.The experimental results show that the laser visual inspection and pipe string modeling method can intuitively detect pipe string deformation,build a more accurate three-dimensional pipe string model,and provide new ideas for pipe string damage detection and defect assessment. |
