The compression packer rubber is a core component of the packer. The rubber sealing performance directly affects the packer in down hole reservoir and oil drilling efficiency.According to the structure and working characteristics of compression packer, the failure mechanism and form of the rubber tube, the sealing principle and working characteristics of the rubber tube in the free deformation, constrained deformation and stable deformation states were analyzed, while the packer was at the packing and operation stages. A theoretical analysis model for the performance of the rubber tube was established. The nonlinear relationship between the material, geometry and stress changes in the rubber tube at the constrained deformation and stable deformation stages was analyzed by pressure method. After numerical analysis, the criterion of sealing performance of the rubber tube was established.A nonlinear finite element model of packer rubber, which combines the material nonlinear, geometric nonlinear and nonlinear contact, applied to the rubber sealing performance analysis. Analyzed the deformation and stress distribution of rubber in the process of sealing. And the results are compared with the numerical analysis model.The finite element analysis model can be used to analyze the sealing performance of the complex structure and the variable load. During the sealing process, this method is used to analyze the influence of the structural design, the supporting ring structure and the spacer ring.This paper, from the perspective of the rubber influence of the sealing performance,analyzed the structure parameters, material parameters and load parameter for the sealing performance reliability and sensitivity computing method under the influence of non-normally distribution of the parameters. This method is combines the numerical analysis of rubber, stochastic perturbation and forth moment techniques. The main influence parameters and the sensitivity for the sealing reliability was analyzed. This method can be applied to the basis for the reliability evaluation index and the structural design parameters of the rubber in engineering application. It can play an instructional role in the practical engineering application. |
