| Oil/water separation is the process of separating oil and water by a series of methods,techniques and equipment.The water in the oil not only has a serious impact on the performance of the oil,but also directly affects the safe operation of components and systems.Therefore,it is necessary to remove the water in the oil through certain methods,but the traditional methods such as centrifugal separation,vacuum dehydration,ultrasonic separation,all have some limitations.This paper is based on the coalescence separation technology.The material and structure of coalescence filter core are analyzed and improved,which provides some theoretical and technical support for the dehydration of jet fuel.The coalescence dehydration is the process of removing trace water from oil by coalescence effect,and its performance of filter coalescence has a direct relationship to the surface characteristics of agglomerated materials.The better hydrophilic,the easier of the tiny water droplets grow into larger droplets,and then fall off.Apply air plasma and acrylic acid gas plasma treatment on the polyethylene melt-blown fiber felt without any processing,and then characterize the surface contact angle,surface functional groups and fiber morphology.The result show that the surface had grafted hydroxyl(-OH),aldehyde(-CHO),carbonyl(C = O)and other hydrophilic functional groups after plasma treatment.Besides,some changes have taken place in surface morphology and surface micro roughness is increased.Such a series of changes make it clear that the plasma treatment has a positive effect on the improvement of the hydrophilicity of the fiber surface.Define the filter which used for comparison as the class Ⅰ filter,the structure improved as the class Ⅱ filter and the hydrophilic materials modified by plasma as the classIII filter.Take jet fuel filter test of these three types filter,and analyses the export pollution content and dropout voltage of the filtration system under different interfacial tension,pollution content and oil flow rate.Results show that the class Ⅱ and class Ⅲ filer have a significantly improved on the export pollution content than the class Ⅰ filter,all those made the filter coalescence dehydration performance has a overall improvement. |
