Wire fillet clothing is a piece of key equipment used in textile carding machine for combing fiber such as cotton,linen,wool,chemical fiber and so on.Production technology and precision machining technology of the wire fillet clothing in China have developed rapidly in the past ten years,but there is still a certain gap compared with foreign countries.As a piece of major equipment for manufacturing wire fillet clothing,grinder whets the semi-finished wire fillet clothing which was processed by the lockstitch sewing before into the one with unified specification and sharp top.In the process of card grinding,wire fillet clothing firstly makes the feeding from shafts of the feed roller to cylinder,and then forms by plain grinding and side grinding.Clothing measurement and material receiving are finally conducted.Therefore,the processing quality and production efficiency of the wire fillet clothing depends on the production process and the precision of equipment.Card grinding forming precision determines the level of product quality.The thesis aims to improve production efficiency and product quality by advancing traditional grinder with the help of high-precision position control technology.When the traditional grinder for the wire fillet clothing operates in the process of card grinding,the distance between grinding head and sharp grinding is adjusted manually.Therefore,product quality is seriously affected by the workers' operating level,and low precision of card clothing's sharp grinding leads to the decrease of product qualification ratio and production efficiency.Except for that,cylinder's main shaft is driven by high-power three-phase asynchronous motor,and the guide shaft and the shafts of the feed roller are both connected hard with cylinder's main shaft through the complex mechanical gear.As a result,when the wire fillet clothing type is changed,mechanical parameters need to bead justed accordingly,which brings about poor adaptability and flexibility of mechanical structure of traditional grinder for the wire fillet clothing.In order to solve the shortcomings of the traditional grinder,such as complex mechanical structure,poor molding accuracy and low production efficiency,the paper studies the grinding head position control system based on high precision servo technology on the foundation of systematically analyzing grinder for the wire fillet clothing control system.The position control model of the servo system is established to realize the precise control of the wire fillet clothing's sharp grinding.In addition,the improved grinder adopts cylinder shaft coupled with the shafts of the feed roller and the guide rail without mechanics.The improved grinder is also equipped with PLC as the main controller,and the inverter and induction motor as independent drive system.The mechanical decoupling and synchronous drive ensure coordinated motion of the three isolated driven shafts,fundamentally improving the traditional mechanical hard coupling connection,and gaining the flexible adjustment of the process parameters and mechanical decoupling.Moreover,analysis of the working principle of feeding for wire fillet clothing and grinding head positioning completes the design of hardware and software of the electrical system.Finally,according to the wire fillet clothing process requirement,debugging and testing of high precision grinder for the wire fillet clothing control system are completed.The practical results show that the maximum speed of the improved grinder can be increased from the original 42m/h to 55m/h,which can meet the needs of processing various kinds of wire fillet clothing with many advantages,such as high control precision,high product quality,and high adaptability,stable and simple operation and so on.
