In this paper,we present a new hexa circulararc profile based on Multi-circulararc gear.This new profile was connected with six arcs.According to the basic tooth profile of hexa circulararc gear,there are six meshing points on a tooth at most,the loading was dispersed.This research studied the basic characteristics of the hexa circulararc profile and new profile was applied to spiral bevel gears.The result can provide the basis for following study of hexa circulararc gear.The results are as follows:(1)According to the analysis of the tooth shape of Multi-circulararc gear and the results of decrease of contact stresses with increase of arcs,presenting hexa circulararc profile.There is a table of geometric parameter in detail.Using the way of simulated generating machining created 3D modles.(2)Using ABAQUS solved the contact stresses of hexa circulararc profile gears,the result was compared with same parameters Multi-circulararc gear.The contact stresses of meshing points decreased.The bearing capacity was improved(3)According to the basic tooth profile of hexa circulararc gear,The axial distance of six meshing points were calculated.There is a table for the calculation of Multi-point mesh factor Multi-pairs tootht mesh factor and the choose of tooth width.The result can provide the basis for following study(4)The practicability of new profile applied to spiral bevel gears was introduced.Analyzing the cutting tool and meshing process,meshing graph is plotted.There is a table for the calculation of multi-tooth mesh factor and multi-point mesh factor.The result can provide the basis for the strength calculation and size selection(5)According to the mechanical structure analysis of two different gear compound milling machine,explained the principle of the maginary crown generating gear.Establishing coordinate system.The tool shape was converted into the tooth surface equation of spiral bevel gears.Based on VERICUT,five-axis maching tool was set up.The Parameters of blank and maching tool were calculated.By compiling NC code,Simulation processing is completed.
