Research On Habitat Restoration Of Wetland Landscape Along Bahe River In Bahe

Bahe River,known as Zishui River in ancient times,situates at the southeast of Shaanxi Province,an anabranch of Weihe River of Huanghe River.Bahe River,one of eight rivers that surround the Chang'an,is the critical component for the ecological construction in Xi'an and one of crucial water sources of Xi'an.However,with rapid urbanization,source of Bahe River is polluted,habitat system is destroyed,the wetland is replaced by high-rise buildings and the area of wetland is gradually reduced.This severely affects the overall development of Baqiao District.Thankfully,the overall goal to promote the ecological civilization construction continually put forward by the Outline of the 13th Five-Year Plan for the Development of National Economy and Society of Xi'an that was passed on the Eighth Plenary Session of the 12th Xi'an Municipal Party Committee provides new opportunities to Bahe River's development.Hence,Baqiao District will improve the management efforts towards the drainage area of Bahe River and make due contribution to the construction of ecological civilization in Xi'an.The current condition is analyzed in this thesis,and the wetland habitat restoration is applied to the design of wetland landscape along Bahe River.This thesis is divided into five parts.The overall background and current condition of Baqiao District are introduced in the first part briefly.The concept of wetland and Wetland Park is analyzed in details in the second part.The wetland landscape belt along Bahe River is summarized in the third part which analyzes respectively from the influence of Bahe River's problems and location advantages of Bahe District on the landscape belt along Bahe River.The fourth part is about the wetland restoration based on Bahe River's current condition,wherein reasons of ecological damage and ways to recover the ecological environment are analyzed.The fifth part is a practical part that contains the plan of wetland landscape belt along Bahe River.Research achievements by the author will be applied to this plan and hence a series of methods for the wetland habitat restoration obtained.Wetland environment restoration mainly focuses on hydrology and soil.Due to the lack of water in the basement,the habitat of the species is destroyed,wetland ecosystem is affected and the wetland area disappears gradually.Raising the level of water,constructing the ecological revetment can further realize the wetland ecological restoration,thus to construct the green and ecological Baqiao.
