With the continuous development of coal mining technology, the technology parameters of the emulsion pump in fully mechanized mining face of thick seam constantly develop in the direction of high pressure and large flow rate, the maximum design pressure and flow rate of domestic emulsion pump are up to 37.5MPa and 630L/min respectively, and the performance testing of the emulsion pump,traditional detection methods can't meet the testing demand of this emulsion pumphigh pressure and large flow emulsion pump.Thus, researching high pressure and large flow emulsion pump testing technology and developing the test system of high pressure and large flow emulsion pump have important significance and application value about the safety and high efficiency support of fully mechanized coal face in thick coal seam.This paper analyzes the technical characteristics of the high pressure and large flow emulsion pumpand the key technical requirements of high pressure and large flow emulsion pump test, and completes the design of high pressure and large flow emulsion pump test platform. This paper analyzes the key problems of the hydraulic system and proposes the solutions. In the performance test of high pressure and large flow emulsion pump, due to high pressure and large flow capacity, the traditional test scheme uses manual voltage regulation and exists security problems,this paper presents a new pressure regulating scheme of intelligent pressure regulating valve based on linear stepping motor, as a result, the automatic control of pressure regulation in the test process is realized, in addition, the hidden dangers are eliminated.By using AMEsim hydraulic simulation software,the modeling and simulation of the test system are carried out, in addition, the intelligent pressure regulating valve is optimized.Then an automatic test system for high pressure and large flow emulsion pump test platform is built, and the hardware design and software development of the test system are completed, as a result, the automatic test of high pressure and large flow emulsion pump is realizedBy this test system,the performance of a BRW630/37.5 high pressure and high volume emulsion pump was tested, the test system can meet the test requirements of high pressure and large flow emulsion pump. After the optimization of intelligent pressure regulating valve, the hydraulic system pressure regulates steadily and quickly. After operation for six months, the developed high pressure and large flow emulsion pump test system is reliable.
