As an important derivative of graphene,graphene oxide(GO)has both the structural properties of graphene and good solvent dispersion of graphene,To reinforce the rubber,the stability of graphene oxide itself is the key point.We prepared graphene oxide and its filled styrene butadiene rubber composites by different preparation methods and explored the difference of graphene oxide under different reaction conditions and its effect on composites.(1)GO with different oxidation degree was prepared by different reaction temperature and different reaction time,We use XPS,XRD and SEM to characterize these GO samples.It was found that with the increase of oxidation time,the oxidation degree of GO was improved,and better solvent dispersion was obtained,With the increase of the reaction temperature,the oxidation degree of GO increases firstly and then decreases.This is because the temperature of more than 110 DEG C will destroy the lamellar structure of GO,so that the oxygen functional groups cracking.(2)The GO/SBR nanocomposites were prepared by blending two kinds of(3)GO and SBR latex by emulsion polymerization.The DMTA,RPA,physical and mechanical properties of the composites were tested.It was found that the tensile strength of the composites increased by 22%,the tear strength increased by a factor of 11%,the 300%elongation stress of the composites increased by 18%and the elongation at break increased by a factor of 14%with the increase of the oxidation time in the medium temperature.The results show that the increase of the oxidation degree of GO can improve the dispersion of GO in rubber and strengthen the interfacial effect.With the increase of the reaction temperature,the properties of the composites firstly increased and then decreased,and the performance of the composites was best at GO prepared at 90 DEG C.(4)GO aqueous solution was separated by different ultrasonic time,and GO were characterized by XPS,FTIR and laser particle size.It was found that there was no obvious chemical change in GO,indicating that the effect of acoustic cavitation would not affect the GO functional groups.The different ultrasonic treatment of GO filled SBR composite materials were prepared and characterized by TEM.With the increase of ultrasonic time,the dispersion of GO in rubber becomes better,the tensile strength than that without ultrasonic rubber samples increased by 71%,300 elongation increased 76%,tear strength increased by 110%.The wear resistance,cutting resistance and air tightness of the composites are obviously improved,and the loss factor and dynamic heat generation are reduced.(5)We used different mesh natural graphite to prepare different chip size of GO,It was found that with the decrease of the film diameter,the oxidation degree of GO increased and the compatibility between GO and rubber was improved.SBR composites were prepared by GO with different film diameters.We found that small diameter GO can form stronger network structure and strong interfacial interaction in polymer in the same amount of filling,The tensile strength was increased by 48%,the 300%elongation stress was increased by a factor of 45%,and the tear strength was increased by a factor of 23%.However,because of the large size of the GO,the passing distance of gas is extended,which leads to the composites have better air tightness...
