The coal washing wastewater has the characteristics of high turbidity(more than 1000 ), strong negative charge (- 28mv ) and high stability. The recycling of coal washing wastewater can reduce the water cost of the mining industry, and it is an important part of the energy-saving link of the factory.The flocculation reaction is the core link of wastewater treatment by putting the flocculant into the wastewater to form flocs. In order to improve the reaction effect and ensure the system stability, we combine the image recognition technology with flocculation reaction control in wastewater treatment. That is the technical solutions currently need to research.According to the hardware and the control flow of flocculation reaction in the existing wastewater treatment, the control algorithm based on flocculating constituent image and wastewater flow detection is proposed. The hardware design, hardware selection and circuit implementation of flocculating constituent image acquisition system are introduced in detail. The conversion of the flocculating constituent image data of the front-end acquisition, and the processing algorithm of flocculating constituent image data are optimized. The noise reduction algorithm of flocculating constituent original image, the binary processing algorithm of flocculating constituent gray image, the noise reduction processing algorithm of flocculating constituent binary image, the labeling algorithm of independent target object,the edge detection algorithm of independent object and the equivalent diameter acquisition algorithm of the target object are optimized and verified.This paper combines with the coal washing wastewater of the actual coal mining factory, the flocculation reaction platform is built in laboratory. The image acquisition, double-loop control, flocculating constituent image recognition and target object feature extraction are experiment, the application of image recognition system in the selection of flocculating constituent filtration membrane.
