Hot rolled U-section steel sheet pile is an important metal material for modern structural engineering,construction engineering and underground engineering industry,especially its structural advantages,which can meet many permanent and temporary engineering requirements.However,the research about U-section steel sheet pile production technology is very little and old.U-section steel sheet pile structure is complex,both sides of the inward bending of the lock shape and size in the rolling process is difficult to control,rolling process is very difficult,in order to improve the high-quality hot-rolled U-section steel piles,we must be study on metal flow and forming of hot-rolled U-section steel pile lock.In this paper,we mainly analyze the metal flow during the forming process of U-section steel sheet pile with 400-mm width and 170-mm height and groove optimized of finishing pass.UG software is applied to build the three-dimensional model of rolling and roll,then lead the three-dimensional model into MSC.Marc software to perform rolling simulation.The simulation results show that different rolling parameters have limited different influence on the bending deformation of U-section steel sheet pile.The main contents are as follows:(1)Analyze the finished porosity especially he hole at the flange of the locking plate of the hot-rolled U-shaped steel sheet pile with width of 400 mm and height of170 mm,the UG three-dimensional mapping software was used to establish the geometry of the rolling and roll Model,then applied MSC.Marc finite element simulation software to establish three-dimensional finite element analysis model,combining with the actual parameters,next set the relevant parameters in the MSC.Marc finite element software to simulate and analyze elasto-plastic of the hot-rolled U-shaped steel sheet finishing process of the final one(2)According to the results of MSC.Marc finite element simulation,the researcher analyze the deformation of the hot-rolled U-shaped steel sheet pile.The result shows that the degree of inward bending of the locking hole in the finished hole is small.Then the researcher study the effects of friction coefficient,temperature,rolling size and other parameters on the deformation of the lock.The results show that the smaller the coefficient of friction is,the greater the degree of inward bending of the lock.and the size of the rolling is increased and the degree of inward bending of the lock is also improved.while the change of temperature has no obvious influence on the bending dimension of the lock(3)According to the theory of metal flow and the results of the above research,the former finishing pass is modified to carry out the rolling simulation of the U-section steel sheet pile,and by comparing pre-modified with after-modified finishing pass,the feasibility and size of modified finishing pass is verified.The results show that the after-modified finishing pass lock of U-section steel sheet pile in the rolling bend better.It meets the actual requirements of the product.The research concentrate on the influence of process parameters such as rolling speed,rolling temperature and friction coefficient on the metal flow of U-section steel sheet pile and determine the control points.
