Xi Jinping's Ecological Civilization Thought

Ecological civilization promoted by President Xi Jinping is one of important aspects of theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics.President Xi clearly gives answers about what ecological civilization is,how to build ecological civilization and other theoretical and practical questions after absorbing beneficial achievements of theory and practice.On the basis of President Xi's related books and talks,the author of the paper summaries thoughts of ecological civilization by President Xi in a systematic way from the perspective of ecological civilization belonging to the overall plan and explains the values of ecological civilization.The paper mainly includes six parts,as follow:Chapter one: Introduction.This part includes reasons of choosing,purpose and meaning of this study,research status at home and abroad,methods and points of innovation as well as definition of related notions.Chapter two: Literature view.This part introduces the theoretical origins of ecological civilization by President Xi.The author thinks that these three thoughts consist of President Xi's ecological civilization,namely: Karl Marx and Friedrich Engles' s ecological thoughts,traditional Chinese ecological thoughts and CCP's ecological thoughts.Chapter three: Theoretical Foundation.This part talks about the development of ecological civilization by President Xi.According to time history,the main contents of ecological civilization can be divided into three stages: the budding stage,the developing stage and initial maturity stage.Ecological civilization continues to develop following the speed of Chinese socialist construction and greatly provides theories to Chinese economic construction.Chapter four: This part explains the main contents and characters of ecological civilization by President Xi.From the perspective of promoting economic,political,cultural,social and ecological progress,author classifies the main contents of ecological civilization into five parts: ecological civilization must be in the overall plan,the ideas,principles and aims of ecological civilization must guide economy and society,protect ecological environment must rely on systems and laws,ecological civilization must be rooted in people's daily life and good ecological environment must be benefit to community.On the basis of that,author summaries the features of ecological civilization by President Xi into five points: profound theoretical developments,innovation at the right time,people oriented,practical spirit.The fifth part of this thesis research on the contemporary value of Xi Jinping's thoughts on ecological civilization.The contemporary value of Xi Jinping's thoughts on ecological civilization includes theory and practice.At the theoretical level,research on ecological civilization of Xi Jinping's thoughts,it can developed Marx and Engels' s thoughts on ecological civilization,also can deepened the thoughts of the CPC on ecological civilization.At the meantime,it also expanded the executive concept of the CPC and enriched the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics.At the practical level,Xi Jinping's thoughts on ecological civilization is the theoretical basis for realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and it also the scientific guidelines for the construction of “Beautiful China”.At the same time,it spread the voice of China about global ecological civilization to the world.
