Gas collector is the hinge of the pipe-line.Its performance is directly related to the security and practicality of the pipeline.The hot forming process is widely used in the production of gas collector because of its advantages such as,good processing quality and safe and reliable operation.However,due to the large size,the traditional process of hot forming is generally backward.For example,some company uses oxygen-acetylene torch as heating sources,which is not only low efficiency,but also has some potential security risks.Aiming at the practicals problems of the project,the paper was applied to study the key procedure-hot forming in the electromagnetic heating forming of large gas collector and put forward a method by combining numerical simulation with experiment mode analysis.The main research contents and results are:1.Analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of different forming processes of large gas collector;in order to solve the problems encountered in the practical production,put forward the application of induction heating to replace the traditional oxygen-acetylene heating.2.Based on the metal thermoplastic forming principles and characteristics,made a point that uses the application of the theory of rigid-plastic finite element and heat conduction finite element theory to solve special deformation and heat transfer coupling phenomena in the hot forming processing,and shown the calculation model;according to the principle of hot forming process,have been clear about the targets of optimizing parameters;establish a new technical index to evaluate the superiority of hot forming quality.3.Using FEM to simulate the hot forming process of gas collector,analyzed different processing parameters such as equivalent stress,equivalent strain,the law of metal flow,temperature distribution,and so on;through the method of control variables,such as forming numbers,heating temperature,forming speed,mold preheating temperature,friction condition,and size of prefabricated hole,determined a set of optimized parameters by these useful parameters influence on the forming process of large gas collector.4.By comparing the experimental date with the theoretical simulation date,verified the rationality and accuracy of the simulation results;provides reference for the optimization of process parameters for forming process of gas collector hot forming;at the same time,laid a foundation of the choice of induction heating equipment and the design of form a complete set of sensors.
