2,4-(3,4-dichlorobenzyl)-D-sorbitol(DCBS)was synthesized and the raw material was sorbitol and 3,4-dichloro benzaldehyde.We studied the effect of different anions on DCBS hydrogel.H2PO42-、CO32-、CH3COO-、NO3-、Br-and SCN-was chosen to prepare the solutions of these anions sodium salt and get the hydrogel of the gelator with the these salts solvent.The Critical Gelator Concentration,Sol-Gel Transition Temperature,Fluorescence Emission Measurements and 1H NMR Measurements were used to compare these hydrogels.The laws of these hydrogels with anions were similar with the Hofmeister Series.And then the viscosity B coefficient and entropy of hydration of the anions fit with their CGC and found there was connection of them.So we consider that the effect of the Hofmeister Series on DCBS hydragel would be dominated by different parameters together.Depend on the gelator N-hexyl-2,4-(3,4-dichlorobenzal)-D-gluconic amide,three new gelators were synthesized.The butyl acetate gel of the four gelators all had thixotropy by rheology tests.However,the butyl acetate gel of gelator N-(3-propoxy)-propyl-2,4-(3,4-dichlorobenzal)-D-gluconic amide can over recover,others gel just can partly recover.IR and Fluorescence spectra were used to test these gels.The research found that the hydrogen-bonds in the butyl acetate gel of gelator D increased after recovery,because the oxygen atom in the side chains of the gelator become new donors of hydrogen-bond in the recovery process.The π-π stacking in the gels decreased,so the butyl acetate gel of gelator A B C cannot full recover.
