Rice cadmium pollution is becoming more and more serious in China.It poses a severe detrimental influence not only on rice quality and yield,but on safety food production and the human health seriously.In order to investigate the effect of silicon on the growth and cadmium absorption of different types rice under cadmium stress,We carried out a field experiment for screening cultivars by cadmium absorption capacities,and a greenhouses pot experiment for researching the effect.In 2015,according to previous studies and rice production in Hubei,field trial was conducted for screening cultivars with light and heavy cadmium pollution condition in Da Ye.By taking rice brown of rice as reference,we found that cultivars with significant difference on cadmium concentration,such as Wuyungeng23,Huanghuazhan,?You838,Guangyou900,Yongyou4949 and 9You418.In 2016,by making mentioned above cultivars as experimental material and setting 6 treatments with no-Cd and no-Si,Cd and no-Si,using Si,as basal application spraying Si in low concentration,medium concentration and high medium concentration,respectively.We research the effect of silicon on the yield performance,physiological-biochemical characteristic,and Cd distribution in organs of rice grown under cadmium pollued soil.The results are as follows.1.Soil cadmium treatment has a significant effect on cadmium content in rice organs,organs Cd concentretion from high to low is root > leaf and stem >brown rice.Most of the Cd accumulate in root,and some of the Cd transport to the stem leaf and rice grains.Variability analysis show that,there is significant correlation between silicon processing,rice cultivars and different parts of cadmium content.Application of silicon fertilizer to soil will help ease the cadmium pollutionin of japonica hybrid rice,and spraying leaf silicon fertilizer is helpful to alleviate Cd pollution.2.The effect of silicon treatment on physiological-biochemical characteristic of rice grown under cadmium polluted soil showed,cadmium stress had no effect on photosynthesis of Yongyou4949.The application of silicon fertilizer does not alleviate the effects of cadmium on photosynthesis.When under T5,Huang Huazhan,Gangyou 900 significantly improve the activity of SOD,GSH exists difference between varieties,silicon can improve the activity of GSH,improved rice resistance.3.The effect of silicon treatment on yield of rice grown under cadmium polluted soil showed,when under T2,the yield of Wuyungeng 23 and Huanghuazhan have increased immeasurably.It is better to spraying Si than using Si,as basal applicationin yield of 9You 418.However,the yield of ?You 838,Guangyou 900,Yongyou 4949 have no significant difference.4.In conclusion,the treatment of silicon on rice can reduce the absorption of cadmium in root,stemand leaves and brown rice,but the degree of reaction is different.At the same time,it is not certain that the concentration of cadmium in each part of the rice can increase the rice yield.The apply of silicon fertilizer to reduce cadmium pollution and not increase production significantly,provide some reference for the treatment of cadmium pollution in rice paddies.
