Optimization Design Of Horizontal Well Profile In Tight Sandstone Reservior

The proportion of oil and gas resources in tight sandstone,low permeability and ultra-low permeability reservoir is more and more large of untapped oil reserves in China.How to develop this kind of oil and gas field economically and efficiently has become an urgent problem to be solved.Horizontal well technology can be used in the development of tight sandstone reservoir because the horizontal section can be used to achieve parallel penetration in the reservoir,which can effectively increase the contact area between the production section and the formation,reduce the production pressure difference and improve the productivity of the production well.In this paper,we study the tight sandstone reservoir in the Huang3 area of Jiyuan oilfield in Ordos Basin,3D geological modeling have been built based on the understanding of reservoir geological characteristics and logging data,and evaluating the adaptability of the horizontal well to develop the reservoir.The natural curve method is used to optimize the trajectory of the borehole through the analysis and comparison of horizontal well trajectory design method,then select the position of the horizontal section and the length of the horizontal section.The optimum design software of horizontal well trajectory is developed to realize rapid solution of the relevant parameters of the trajectory,It is of great significance to the intelligent and automation of oil field.Finally,combined with the geological characteristics of Huang 3 area,The trend of the strike zone,the magnitude and direction of the stress and the development of the natural fractures in the tight sandstone reservoir in the study area are fully considered.Optimization design of horizontal well trajectory is designed It can realize the efficient and safe development of the tight sandstone reservoir in the Huang 3 area,It is of great significance to the development of tight sandstone reservoirs in China.
