Gear transmission is a important component of the electric workover machine drive system,with China's oil is increasing,the demand of people for oil demand drilling machinery variety and quality is becoming more and more high.Aiming at the exists serious phenomenon of the life of the involute cylindrical gear transmission,in this paper,based on the equal strength design theory,finite element analysis method and the theory of mechanical optimization design of gear optimization of gear transmission,as to enhance the economic efficient improve product quality.First of all,about the structure and working principle of electric worover rig,understand the structure of the gear transmission and undertake the work tasks,this gear transmission extreme working conditions,workover rig hook load of 633 KN,the speed of the hook is 0.29m/s,survey found that gear failure forms of gear transmission is mainly caused by the bending fatigue stress and contact stress,using the software of ANSYS Workbench simulated each gear,the result said the gear transmission of the strength of the gear is put in bigger different,especially the gear bending strength is poor,but this phenomenon is not allowed in the petroleum machinery industry.It is must that based on the equal strength design theory and optimization design theory to design again.Gear equal strength reflect such as gear such as life,so we can put the gear strength safety factor as the index,can be expressed into gear,such as the strength of the specific goals,all the gear in the gear transmission bending safety factor is equal or close,contact safety factor is equal or close.In this paper,gear and other specific goals for strength,in the transmission gear,all contact variance minimum safety factor value and satisfy the conditions of contact strength;all blending minimum safety factor valu and satisfy the conditions of blending strength.Under the condition of guarantee the reliability of the parts,the minimum volumes of gear transmission and gear strength as the goal,all parameters of the gear as the design variables,the corresponding mathematical model,based on the calculation of the linear weighted method,using the MATLAB optimization toolbox fmincon function for its optimization calculation,finally,the ideal optimization results are obtained.Compared with the original design result,gear transmission volume reduced by 30%,the strength of the gear basic approach,the effects of optimization is obvious,the economic benefit is improved.In order to ensure that the new design of gear transmission is not affected by vibration at work,based on the modal analysis theory,using ANSYS Workbench software modal analysis of the gear transmission,extracted the first nine order modal analysis results found that the free modal Frequencies of gear transmission and gear meshing frequency,speed synchronous frequencies is far,it won't produce resonance problem at the work time.Finally,made a summary to the full text,put forward the outlook for the next step research work.
