Waste oil contains a variety of harmful substances,thus eating this oil is harmful to human health.The main component of waste oil is triglycerides,which can be used as a chemical raw material after removing impurities.Alkanolamide surfactant has high stability,corrosion resistance,anti-static and good lubricating properties,making it an excellent negatively charged non-ionic surfactants,and often as one of the ingredients of water based metalworking lubricant.If the waste oil can be used as raw materials for the production of alkanolamide,it can greatly reduce the production cost of alkanolamide and it can open up a new way for the utilization of waste oil.It is good to environmental protection and efficient use of resources,and has good economic and social benefits.In this work,firstly,to purify waste oil,the free fatty acid in raw oil was converted into fatty acid ester by pre esterification reaction in order to reduce the acid value of the feedstock to provide better conditions for the next reaction;then ester exchange reaction was carried out to obtain fatty acid methyl ester(biodiesel).Finally,biodiesel was used to produce alkanolamide The reaction molar ratio,catalyst dosage,reaction temperature,reaction time and vacuum degree were investigated separately in the process of preparing alkanolamide.The synthesis conditions were both optimized by single factor and orthogonal experiments.The waste oil synthesized alkanolamide was added to the formula of the cutting fluid,which showed excellent performance of the cutting fluid with waste oil synthezed alkanolamide in lubrication,rust proof,and fire foam,comparing with the original formulation of cutting fluid.The quality index of the obtained alkanolamide reached the national standard,which had excellent surface activity.
