Increasing environmental awareness and depletion of energy resources are the driving force for the industry to find clean and renewable fuels which are environmentally friendly.Biodiesel which is a kind of environmentally- friendly green energy is becoming one of the hot topic for its clean and renewable. However, the pivotal factor of restricting the extension and application of biodiesel is oil resource.In this article, waste cooking oil was used to study the fatty acid methyl ester preparation technology, This article emphasizes on studying the technology conditions of waste cooking oil decoloration pretreatment. The tachnologies of preesterification-ester exchange was adapted for this condition. The article developed a process research of biodiesel from waste cooking oil, the main contents and results follow:1,Research of material property was been done in the paper,the acid value of waste cooking oil was 31.42 mg KOH/g, the water value was 1.7%, the saponification value was 231.4 mg KOH/g.2,Experiments comfirmed the best technology condition at atmospheric pressure as decolorationtemperature 60℃, decolorationtime 80min and bleaching-earch dosage 3%.The rate of decoloration is 45.3%.3,The paper emphasizes on the preparation of fatty acid methyl-ester(FAME) by waste cooking oil and methanol, in this part,we can analyzed the condition of esterification and found out the best method. The optimum conditions were gotten for transesterification:molar ratio of methanol to oil 6:1, usage amount of NaOH 2.2%,reaction temperature 65℃, reactiontime 4h, water 0.5%,stirring speed 310r/min.4,By using of neural network, We can forecast the next date which comparing with experiment date. The forecasting results show that error is 0.74% which is very little.5,In this paper, Qualitative properties of obtained biodiesel were measured. The results show that:flash point is 154℃, viscosity is 4.79 mm2/s, content of sulfur is 0.05, cloud point is 0.11℃Research of biodiesel preparation technologies with waste cooking oil can provide a wider space for developing biodiesel the raw material problem of biodiesel preparation, but also help solve environmental problems and reduce the cost of biodiesel, So it has great application potential.
