Amygdalus pedunculata Pall(A.P.),a kind of deciduous shrub of the Rosaceae,which is mainly distributed in Inner Mongolia,Ningxia and north of Shaanxi and generally located in arid,semi-arid slopes and desert area,is a new woody oil plant.In our previous works,the A.P.has been studied and exploited,and a range of products can be obtained from the seed and shell of the A.P.,such as high-grade edible oil,biodiesel,protein powder and activated carbon and so on,which improved the comprehensive utilization of A.P..As reported,most Rosaceae plants have attracted much attention from scientists due to biological activity of its roots,stems and leaves.In order to further improve its utilization value,the chemical constituents of A.P.leaves have been extracted,separated,identified and analyzed in this paper,which would contribute to future work.The main research results are as follows:·1.In this paper,the A.P.leaves were selected from sandy land of Yulin,Shaanxi Province as the research object.The general composition,amino acid composition and mineral elements were detected and analyzed.The results showed that the contents of water,ash,crude protein,crude fat and crude fiber were 5.9%,7.0%,1.9%,6.8%and 26.1%,respectively.In the sixteen amino acids analysis,the contents of glutamic acid and aspartic acid were higher than others.The contents of Ca,Fe and Mg in nine mineral elements were relatively high.2.The chemical constituents of the leaves were identified by tube reaction and filter reaction to understand the type of components.Experience data suggested that the A.P.leaves may include sugar,saponins,tannins,organic acids,flavonoids,coumarin,lactones,phenols,etc.3.The chemical constituents of the A.P,leaves were extracted by percolation method using 75%ethanol as solvent,and then extracted with petroleum ether,ethyl acetate and n-butanol.In this paper,the ethyl acetate extract as the main research object.The compounds were separated by column chromatography on silica gel and Sephadex LH-20.The compounds were detected by TLC,HPLC.The compounds were identified through NMR,IR and ESI-MS:mandelic acid,scopolamine,oleanolic acid,naringenin,quercetin,ursolic acid,kaempferol and genistin.4.Eight componds in the A.P.leaves can be determinated by HPLC.The contents of mandelic acid,scopoletin,oleanolic acid,ursolic acid,quercetin,naringenin,kaempferol and genistin were 121.58±1.37 μg/g,117.16±1.38 μg/g,69.43±0.68 μg/g,774.79±3.82μg/g,376.71±4.71 μg/g,137.11±2.65 μg/g,52.12±0.75 μg/g and 655.87±4.41 μg/g,respectively.
