Based on the analysis and research on the horizontal well technology in the first phase of North Azadegan Oilfield Project in Iran,regarding to the outstanding problems encountered in the project implementation process,this paper proposes some technical improvements in the subject of anti-collision of the vertical wells in the platform,the reduction of friction and drag in the horizontal wells,increasing the drilling rate and integrated geo-steering drilling technology application.Proposes another anti-collision plan: tracking and controlling in the whole process of vertical section of the second spud,build the well trajectory uncertainty 3D model,and analyses the plan from three aspects of necessity,feasibility and superiority.Base on the introduction of conventional friction and drag reduction measures,proposes well plan optimizing and some new tools,such as HVDS,holding angle motor and CBM.Based on the analysis of PDC bit design process and successful cases of personalized customization,with reference of the formation and lithology in each spud of wells in North Azadegan oilfield,recommend the respective PDC bit plan.Iintroduces the integrated geo-steering drilling technology,which combines the geological research with the horizontal well drilling technology,and establishes the fine three-dimensional geological model to predict the reservoir changes,and guide the horizontal well trajectory control in real time to improve the high quality reservoir-encountered rate.
