This paper introduces the location of the cyclone and the factors that affect the wear of the cyclone,including the structural parameters and operating parameters.The principle,characteristics and development status of the cyclone wear are analyzed.Innovative proposed in the cyclone wear parts of the installation of replaceable embed small cone,not only stable internal flow field of the cyclone,to promote the secondary separation of the cyclone to improve the efficiency of cyclone separation,but also slow down the solid particles cyclone wall wear,reduce energy loss,extend the cyclone life,reduce equipment investment.Based on the idea of promoting the secondary separation of the cyclone and slowing the design of the solid particles on the wall wear of the swirler,the embedded solid-liquid cyclone is actually implemented.The initial physical model of the cyclone is obtained by using the 3D modeling software Solidworks and the computational fluid dynamics software Fluent to check the grid independentity of the initial model of the embedded solid-liquid cyclone with the pressure loss as the index.The orthogonal design was used to optimize the structural parameters of the cyclone,and the outer cone angle,the small cone angle,the size of the sand hole and the length of the outer part of the outer cone were studied by orthogonal test.At the same time,the single variable method is used to optimize the operation parameters.The influence of the flow rate and the split ratio on the velocity characteristics,pressure characteristics and separation performance of the hydrocyclone is analyzed.Through the separation process of the cyclone and the trajectories of the solid particles in the cyclone,abrasion law of solid particles on cyclone wall is studied,found the flow field of embed solid liquid cyclone is blocked by the rib plate,the solid particles do similar vertical movement,reduce the speed of slow wall abrasion.At the same times,the influence of particle size and inlet particle concentration on the wall abrasion rate of cyclone was also studied.Experimental scheme and experimental system was introduced.Laboratory tests were conducted on an embed solid-liquid cyclone,and the experimental data were in good agreement with the simulated data,the influence of overflow hole length,sand hole size,flow rate,flow split ratio on separation efficiency of solid phase.
