While the rotary steering technology has the function of directional drilling,it can effectively reduce the friction resistance of the drill string with the help of the drill string,and extend the drilling limit distance.Rotary steering technology has the advantages of high safety and fast drilling speed,and has become an indispensable element in the process of oil exploration and development.Based on the domestic and foreign research on rotary steering technology,the existing AutoTrak,PowerDrive,Geo-Pilot three kinds of rotary steering drilling system of typical theory and the main structure,through comparative analysis,it has the advantages and disadvantages of the system.In view of the problems existing in the present rotary steering drilling system,a mechanical rotary tool is proposed.In this paper,the structure and function of the main parts of the tool,such as the directional sleeve,the rotation controller and the hydraulic actuator,are expounded.In this paper,the mechanical rotary tool has the advantages of simple structure,low cost,and can adapt to the deep and complex oil and gas wells with high temperature and high pressure.
