| As the United States "return to the manufacturing strategy", Germany "industrial 4.0", our country also put forward "made in China 2025" strategy in accordance with the situation. It shows the importance of the manufacturing industry to the national strategic position. The CNC machine tools plays a fundamental role in manufacturing, which has important influence on the improvement of the overall level of manufacturing. Over the past few decades, developing more precise and high-speed servo feed drive system has become a noticeable trend for engineers due to the necessity of higher component quality and productivity boosts. Now, the main failure position of CNC machine tools is rolling components, one of the ball screw rate is higher. Its main failure mode is ultra precision. The installation of ball screw, which limits greatly the accuracy of machine tool, the working precision of machine tools decreases gradually under the unbalanced operation. Subsequently, in order to improve the precision resistance of ball screw, ball screw’s installation accuracy and control method were studied.This paper studied the relationship between contact angle and install error, and the relationship between contact angle and ball screw bending deformation. The relationship between contact angle and contact stiffness has determined based on Hertz contact theory. Based on this, a method of detecting ball screw’s installation error via monitoring the average vibration magnitude induced by ball screws(VMBS) has been proposed. For the accuracy of results, the method of FFT,EMD-AR and marginal spectrum analysis method were analyzed.The test platform including the type of key parts has been designed. The reciprocating motion control of the test bench was controlled by Labview and driven by motor. Analyzing the collected data, intercepting the VMBS, we drew on the VMBS curves on the whole trip. Averaging the extracted magnitude and data fitting, the change of average VMBS with different ball screw’s installation error is obtained at different speed. The experimental results show that the average VMBS raised with the increase of installation error under the speed 1000 rpm and 1500 rpm and the installation error from 0 to 0.2mm, while the other conditions were unchanged. This study provided an approach to monitor the BSAE, which has a certain guide for improving the installation accuracy of ball screws. |
