Computer numerical control machine tools(hereinafter referred to as CNC machine tools) is widely applied to industrial production, and is of great significance to realize health condition monitoring of CNC machine tools. It helps to improve production efficiency and product quality. This paper proposes a system solution, in which introduction domain based on CNC system is combined with cloud service to monitor CNC machine tools condition. Without external sensing equipment, the cloud services platform performs instruction domain analysis, process and display through CNC machine tools run-time data collected by CNC system, thus realizing the goal of CNC machine health condition monitoring. The system has achieved good results in the workshop tapping center applications.Self-test function modules of CNC machine tools were developed by using Huazhong HNC-8 CNC system of secondary development platform, which can configure the self-test parameters, automatically generate and load self-test program of CNC machine tools, atomically collect and save multiple run-time data when the self-test programs works, save history health data and visualize self-test results from cloud service platform.By using Matlab software, the self-test data analysis and processing module depending on instruction domain is designed and the corresponding function library which can be called by.NET platform is generated. Besides, health guarantees module is designed in the cloud service platform,which can calculate health index and implements the transmission of CNC machine tools of self-test data, data analysis, condition monitoring, data visualization and health data management and so on.The system is tested and verified in two practical applications, successfully realizes the entire process of the self-test G-code program run, the collection and preservation and transmission and analysis of CNC machine tools condition data, and realizes visualization of CNC machine tools health index in the cloud service platform.
