Daqing Petrochemical Company,Daqing Chemical Engineering Research Center and Northeast Petroleum University,in their joint research of gas phase polyethylene powder catalyst,have succeeded in developing a new gas-phase LLDPE catalyst.The laboratory scale test of catalyst preparation and the pilot polymerization evaluation were completed.On the basis of the said research,the scale-up pilot research on the catalyst synthesis was performed,and then the catalyst trial production was carried out in the catalyst preparation system of the LLDPE facilities of Daqing Petrochemical Company,and in the mean time in the same facility the polymerization industrial application research was carried out,to finally replace the M type catalyst with the new generation.Electron donor is introduced into the gas phase fluidized bed polyethylene catalyst to induce a weak chemical reaction between the electron donor and the silica gel carrier,acting as an "anchor" to bind the titanium trichloride and magnesium chloride in the active site.The addition of electron donor,on the one hand causes the active site to disperse more evenly,and on the other hand makes the active site enter fully the micro pores in the silica gel carrier,thus improving both the catalyst activity and the bulk density of the polyethylene resin.Three batches of industrial trial production of HM-01 catalyst preparation were completed on Daqing Petrochemical Company Plastic Plant Linear Plant catalyst preparation facilities.And the industrial application test was successfully performed on the LLDPE facilities.The HM-01 catalyst is applied to gas-phase fluidized bed facilities adopting Unipol process.An integration of the condensation state operation technique could further improve the capacity of the facilities,lower the production cost,and improve the product quality.The catalyst activity is between 5000?6000kg PE/kgcat,and the bulk density of polyethylene resin is 0.40g/cm3.Compared with the original M-1 catalyst,the activity of the new catalyst is nearly doubled,and the bulk density of the polyethylene resin improved by 25%,allowing for an effective improvement of the productivity of the facilities by 25%.The whole production process is shown to have good fluidity of catalyst,stable feed of catalyst,continuous and stable operation of the facility,without any production accidents including static electricity fluctuation,swift up temperature of the reactor,or transition of material.The mechanical and optical properties of the products have been significantly improved,reaching domestic leading level in Ziegler-Natta powder catalyst.
