Nylon fiber have good mechanical properties,hydrophilic properties,dyeing performance,be popular with consumer,widely used in the textile and apparel industry.At present,the petroleum-based synthetic PA6 and PA66 are the most popular.As oil gets scarcer and more expensive,developing renewable biomass fiber can help expand the sources of textile raw materials,and textile industry to achieve sustainable development.Bio-based PA56 is synthesized by bio-based pentamethylene diamine and petroleum-based adipic acid.Compared with the petroleum based PA6 and PA66,it not only has the advantage of raw material source,but also has excellent properties of synthetic fiber,so bio-based PA56 has wide prospect of application.Therefore performing a series study on the structure,physical and chemical properties,dyeing and finishing process of bio-based nylon PA56 systematically has great significance.The new kind of bio-based nylon PA56 has been synthesized by Shanghai Kai Sai Biology Co.,Ltd.,which may be different from the PA56 described in the current literature.Before reseraching the dyeing properties and functional finishing of PA56,it is necessary to analyze the structure and performance of PA56.The structure of PA56 was characterized by FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectra,The structure of PA56 were compared with PA66.The results show that there is no significant difference between the absorption peaks of PA56 and PA66.The results of 1H-NMR showed that the absorption peak near the chemical shift value ?3.0 corresponds to the absorption of the adjacent H protons.The other absorption peaks were the absorption of H protons in the methylene group.The crystallinity of PA56 was 67.78% by X-ray diffraction,and the diffraction peak was at 20.820 ° and 23.221 °,indicating the existence of crystal s tructure.The thermal stability of PA56 was analyzed by DSC and TG.The results showed that PA56 had a good thermal stability.The melting point of PA56 was 252 ?,and lower 10? than PA66.the thermal decomposition temperature was 380~460 ?.Study on the properties of dyeing of PA56 with weak acid dyes,the optimum dyeing process conditions are determined by studying the impact of different dyeing p H value,time,temperature on the K / S value of dyed fabric,and the influence of the color fastness,The optimum dyeing conditions are recommended: p H = 4.5,the heating rate was 1 °C / min,and 60 ? for 30 min.The study found that PA56 is suitable for low temperature dyeing.Study on the theory of dyeing of PA56 with weak acid dyes.The results showed that pseudo-second-order kinetics model can describe the dyeing process of PA56 with weak acid blue 5R.PA56 is suitable for low-temperature dyeing.When PA56 was dyed at 60 ?,and the dyeing percentage of PA56 dyed by weak acid dyes could reach more than 90%.The adsorption of PA56 on weak acid blue 5R is a combination of Freundlich and Langmuir adsorption isotherms.The application of 3,3 ',4,4'-benzophenone tetracarboxylic dianhydride to PA56.it could be given PA56 good antibacterial and anti-ultraviolet properties,After finishing,the antibacterial effect of PA56 on Escherichia coli was more than 95%,and the UPF value of the fabric was 180.24,the UVA value was 2.09%.After finishing,The structure of PA56 were characterized by FT-IR and H-NMR.It was found that BPTCD reacted with PA56 and formed a new amide bond.
