With the rapid development of chemical industry,The types and output increase dramatically.The dangerous chemicals which have toxic,flammable or explosive easily leak accident,in the process of production,storage,transportation and use of links,and the consequences of environmental pollution,poisoning,fire or explosion accidents caused by leakage is very serious.Therefore,it is necessary to study the mechanism of leakage,leakage and diffusion,the analysis of the consequences of accidents and the countermeasures.In this paper,The problem of the leakage diffusion and development process under different conditions are analyzed by basing on the initial phase state of leakage material.A plastic production enterprises in Ningbo is used as an engineering example,and through the hazard identification,the storage area which has hidden danger and risk of high storage is selected as the research object.Through the numerical simulation analysis the establishment of material leakage model by using Fluent and Aloha software establishment of material leakage model,the benzene leakage process and the consequences of the accident as time evolution are researched.The results show that:(1)Part leakage of liquid benzene will form a liquid pool with the terrain spreading,and the fire or explosion accidents will happen when facing fire hazard,the other part will form benzene vapor cloud on account of spatter or evaporation,which spread toward downwind and form toxic danger zone;(2)It will form a divergent injection leak for the small leakage area and differential pressure,the maximum velocity is been divulge,The diffusion leakage aggravates the formation of benzene vapor.(3)With the increase of wind speed,the boundary of the toxic reaction zone of benzene vapor decreases gradually,while the maximum average release rate and total release amount increase.(4)Under certain condition,the toxicity of Benzene Leakage,the vapor cloud flash fire or explosion,pool fire disaster and the harm scope of BLEVE accident are simulated and analyzed.Through the fault tree,It is research that the leakage be or not found in a timely manner,the collision sparks and open flame leakage are the key factors causing leakage of fire or explosion accident.Combination with numerical simulation,the cause of the accident analysis and their own characteristics,preventive measures in aspect of compulsory education,training management and engineering technology are put forward.The results of this study can be a reasonable arrangement,the enterprise in the new irrigation area on the material leakage prevention and emergency evacuation of personnel and to provide a reliable scientific basis,at the same time,the study on ways and methods can also provide ideas and reference to other chemical companies in the study of similar problems,has practical application value.
