Polyether imid(PEI)is a kind of polyimide whoes repeating units contain both ether and imide bends.PEI exhibits good thermal and mechanical properties like polyimide,it also possesses excellent processing characters that most traditional polyimide are imcompetent.In addition,its cost is relative lower.By far,the synthesis of PEI remains “two-steps” method,which may bring the problem of incompletion of Imidization.Moreover,there are still no large expertions in china can provide mass production of PEI.Therefore,it is quite important to develop a novel method capable of mass production.In order to simplify the experimental operation,to improve the degree of imidization of polyether imide,reduce production costs,large-scale production of polyetherimide to provide a new way of thinking,in this paper,the use of nucleophilic substitution method,Reaction vessel reaction system to complete the monomer preparation to the polymer synthesis of the whole reaction process.Using 4-chlorophthalic anhydride and 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl ether as starting materials,N,N-dimethylacetamide was used as a solvent to prepare diclofenosyl imide with toluene and water,Reaction vessel reaction system,the preparation of bisphenol potassium double potassium salt,and finally the diclofenacimide monomer and bisphenol potassium salt by nucleophilic substitution reaction preparation of polyetherimide.The polyether imides were prepared by using bisphenol A and bisphenol S respectively.The polymer was characterized by polymer structure(nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy,infrared spectroscopy),molecular weight(GPC,(DSC,TGA),aggregate structure and mechanical properties of the test,and the two different structures of the polymer were compared.The results show that these two polyether imides with different structures are successfully prepared by nucleophilic substitution method.The molecular weight is high,the solubility is good,soluble in strong polar solvents such as DMAc,DMF and so on.The glass transition temperature Higher,good thermal stability,and amorphous.By comparing the results of bisphenol A type polyetherimide and bisphenol S polyetherimide,it was found that the introduction of sulfone did not significantly affect the solubility of the polymer but improved the glass transition of the polymer to a certain extent Temperature and thermal stability.The experimental results show that it is feasible to prepare polyether imide by nucleophilic substitution using chlorophthalic anhydride in the same reaction vessel reaction system.
