Study On The Thoughts Of Foster Ecological Marxism

J.B.Foster is one of the most famous Eco-Marxist in the North America,who is also the editor of the Left Wing magazine Monthly Review.On the basis of teasing the development history of the thoughts of Marx,Foster reread and Marxist materialism from the perspective of ecology.He analyses the origin and the process of ecological crisis through using the material transformation theory of Marx,he thought that the capitalist system was the most fundamental reason which caused these crises.Foster put forward that the only way to solve ecological crisis thoroughly was eliminate the capitalist system and built the communist society of the harmonious development of human and nature.To a certain degree,Foster widened the research perspective Marxist theory for excavating and constructing the thought of Marx 's ecological materialism,which had definite rationality.Although the people have different commends to Foster on academic field's,the ecologic Marxism though of him about the environment protection and the ecological harmony has great influences for our construction of ecology.The paper is mainly made up of five parts.The first part is introductions of Foster's ecological Marxism's research influence,research status at home and abroad and research contents and methods.The second part is the background of his theory.The third part is main contents of his theory.The fourth part is about the judge of Foster's ecological Marxism.The last part is peroration.
