In order to solve the difficulty in model reverse reconstitution process which caused by the double curvature characteristic and the complicated pattern configuration of tire,overcome the difficulty in traditional reverse modeling method to construct pattern structure model which meet tire performance requirements and realize the effective restoration of pattern structure design parameter information contained by tire scanning point cloud data,A reverse modeling approach of tread pattern that could restore pattern structure design parameter information has been put forward based on the analysis and study of the key technology of reverse modeling and the tread pattern structure design theory,The detailed research includes:1)This paper determine the problem of obtaining Tread pattern structure positive design parameters and establish the parameter reconstitution system.Firstly,Analyze the data attributes contained in the point cloud which obtained by the existing device and confirm format unified conversion method.Secondly,confirm the data processing method based on scanning point cloud and the logical structure of parameter reverse reconstruction with the help of forward design mode of tread pattern structure.Finally,establish a reverse modeling system for tread structure design which composed by three levels: data partitioning,information acquisition and data application.2)This paper put forward a pattern border extraction method for tread point cloud mapping matrix.Firstly,based on the tread point cloud obtained by optimizing partition,transform 3D thread point cloud into point cloud mapping matrix with grid as the basic elementary unit.Secondly,pattern structure knowledge unit will be obtained by the way of column chain code connectivity growth mode,so as to construct a structural knowledge base that can characterize the pattern structure information.Finally,realize the cluster of pattern in the knowledge base by solving of knowledge unit similarity,and achieve the matching of cluster results and fundamental pattern design type with the help of pattern recognition,and thus realize the extraction of pattern border feature points by driving the classification mechanism of basic type pattern border feature.3)This paper study the method to obtain the tread pattern structure design parameters and establish semantic modeling method for 3D tread pattern.Firstly,obtain the tread pattern structure parameter and tire structure skeleton information based on the mapping implementation mechanism of 3D tire pattern and construction mechanism of2 D pattern tangent linear arc.Secondly,establish the semantic unit of tread pattern by abstract decomposing the structure of pattern groove,decoration and intersectionfeatures in theoretical design.Finally,conduct the reverse modeling design of tread pattern with the tire pitch information established by cluster analysis.4)This paper based on the above theoretical study and brought in modeling technology based on features,developed the reverse modeling design system of tread pattern structure design with CATIA/CAA as development platform,,,then verified the system with 205/55R16 tire as the example and made error analysis of some key information.
