The high and steep slope formed by the exploitation of the western open-pit mine in Fushun City has provided a hotbed for the occurrence of landslide. In this paper, the topographic conditions and geological structure conditions of the Nanglang landslide in Fushun Western Opencast Mine are analyzed, and the relationship between dip angle and landslide is The relationship between the slope, which is more conducive to the formation of landslides. At the same time, the characteristics of landslide are expounded, and the geological exploration drilling is carried out from the aspects of structural features, deformation characteristics and genetic mechanism of landslide. The geological survey drilling data can get the stratum and number of weak structural planes accurately. The static GPS monitoring, simple monitoring, deep rock movement monitoring and groundwater dynamic observation points were arranged in the E400 and E1200 sections of the west opencast coal mine in Fushun City. The collected data were analyzed and analyzed based on the basic data extracted from the monitoring points. Based on the above analysis, four potential sliding surfaces of E400 and E1200 were established, and the potential sliding surfaces were established by the limit mechanics method(Sarma and Janbu method) and unbalanced thrust method. And the unstable slip surface is determined by the contrast analysis of the coefficients. The unstable sliding surface is analyzed again in the tracking failure mode and different mining depths to determine the dangerous sliding surface. The determination of the dangerous sliding surface is helpful to study the stability of the fractured landslide in the south of Fuxi city, and has guiding significance for the possible landslide geological disaster.
