Climate change is still a global attention,and also the serious challenges we face together.In order to better mitigate climate change and reduce carbon dioxide emissions,from the "Kyoto Protocol" after the signing of December 12,2015,held in Paris,France,the United Nations Climate Change Conference on the development of the "Paris Climate Change Agreement." The agreement is a landmark agreement.China,as a developing country,shoulders the burden of tackling climate change.President Xi Jinping and US President Barack Obama jointly issued the Joint Statement on the Heads of State of the United States on Climate Change in September 2015,clearly announcing that China will officially launch the national carbon emissions trading system in 2017.The system involves the key industries including steel,chemicals,building materials,paper,electricity and nonferrous metals.Our government's carbon-binding targets are: carbon dioxide emissions in 20 to 30 years to reach the peak,the unit GDP CO2 emissions than in 2005 decreased by 60% to 65%,forest volume increased 4.5 billion cubic meters in 2005,non-fossil energy accounted for once Energy consumption accounted for about 20%[1].China's carbon market is gradually improving,and further increase China's mitigation of climate change and reduce the role of carbon dioxide emissions.Since the new coal-fired cogeneration project does not have a suitable carbon emission reduction calculation method,this paper takes such projects as the research object,and makes reference to the CDM methodology and the voluntary emission reduction methodologies,and carried out the project of new coal-fired cogeneration Carbon emission reduction research and calculation analysis.At the beginning of this paper,the present situation of climate change and domestic and international energy are introduced,and the development of carbon market and the efforts of climate change are introduced.Secondly,the introduction of CHP is introduced.Challenges and difficulties,and analyzes and summarizes the existing methodology.Finally,the paper analyzes the carbon reduction calculation of new coal-fired cogeneration projects,and applies the quantitative method of carbon emission reduction to this project through concrete project examples.The calculation results are analyzed and discussed,and the influencing factors are discussed.The calculation method of carbon emission reductionprovided in this paper provides a reference for the calculation of greenhouse gas emission reduction in new coal-fired cogeneration projects in China,and provides certain technical guarantee for further improvement of carbon market in China.
