As the "Kyoto Protocol" has been developed a legally binding greenhouse gas emission reduction and emission limitation targets for the industrialized countries and countries with economies in transition，carbon emissions become a scarce resource， The priceof carbon emissions as the basis of the "carbon market" came into being Carbon market itself has vested in the allocation and actual use and the characteristics in the sameperiod; However，due to the quota-based trading market trading rules and item-based trading markets and different procedures，carbon market in the different markets exhibit characteristics of different types of financial instruments.In this paper，based on today’s carbon markets and carbon cycle research，analysis the affects of today’s carbon market onEarth’s ecosystems，urban ecosystems，people’s lives.Through the analysics,we can conclude:carbon market combine the scientific issues(the climate because of the human development),technical issues(reduction of carbon emissions and slow down the global warming),economic issues(to achiene sustainable development),using the most efficient market mechanisms to solve this comprehensive technical,scientific and economic problem of global warming.Carbon market link together the human capital and new low-carbon technologies, more money will be put to the reductionprojects and enterprises.at the same time, countries and the advantages of the project due to its reduction emission reductions can be carried out in the carbon trading market,accelerating the creation of emission reduction technology and innovation,and ultimatelyachieve carbon reduction targets.In the specific case of Nanjing, the Nanjing carbon emissions increase year by year,with an average growth rate of8%,in the industrial energy, due to the escalation in recent years,in the heavy industry, and its growth has slowed,2011to2012was only1%.But the transport is not optimistic, maintaining an annual growth of nearly17%.This requires the need to seize the favorable opportunity of Nanjing domestic carbon market,the effective use of the carbon market means to achieve energy conservation, efforts in four areas of urban production, urban architecture, urban transport, urban carbon sinks, and reached a low-carbon city ultimate goal.
