Cotton is an important economic crop and leading raw material of textile industry, which occupies important position in the national economy in our country. Cotton textile enterprise of cotton quality put forward higher requirements with the development of cotton textile industry and more competition in the international and domestic markets. The main factors influencing the quality indexes of cotton fiber is the cotton moisture. The real-time on-line detection technology research of seed cotton is relatively scarce in our country presently. Therefore, this article designs an on-line detection device of seed cotton moisture witch can be applied to the scene of the processing, that aims at countering the existing cotton processing plant seed cotton moisture regain poor consistency and the process of conveying speed. We can dynamically observe the change of seed cotton moisture in real-time by the device to.Seed cotton is composed of cotton fiber and cotton seed. The three hydroxyl of glucosyl group in the cotton fiber belongs to the hydrophilic group. The hydroxyl has considerable affinity to molecules, that can directly absorb water molecules in the free state. Under the action of outer electric field, the free ions in cotton fiber directional movement has realized the cotton fiber conductive. On conductive properties of cotton fiber, this article studies the factors affecting cotton fiber conductive performance, launched the experiment of relationship between seed cotton mass specific resistance and seed cotton moisture. On the basis of experimental results and the introduction of temperature compensation algorithm, we establish a mathematical model about seed cotton mass specific resistance and seed cotton moisture.In this article based on the electronic sensing technology. First this article designed the signal collecting and adjusting circuit which can detect the high resistance of cotton fiber. Secondly, this article designs a program about seed cotton mass specific resistance and seed cotton moisture, witch better solved the error introduced and interference in the process of AD sampling circuit by digital filter.In this article, designs an on-line detection device of seed cotton moisture witch combined electronic sensing technology with practical engineering and realized dynamic detection in the scene of the cotton processing. The design of the seed cotton moisture on-line detection device to achieve the cotton processing site on all aspects of dynamic detection of moisture of cotton, cotton processing to improve the quality and optimization of cotton processing technology provides the necessary Data support. The seed cotton moisture on-line detection device provides the necessary data to improve the quality of cotton processing and optimization of cotton processing technology.
