Using high-quality wood pulp and titanium dioxide as the main raw material,this stud y supplemented suitable auxiliaries to papermaking decorative base paper.After intaglio pri nting,dipping resins and other processes,decorative base paper are widely used in the unde rlying paper fiberboard,other wood-based panels,and protective surface layer of paper an d paper.High-quality decorative paper have good printability,which provide rich graphic s,satisfied decorative and beautifying effect and meet insulation,easy to clean,durability a nd other functional requirements.Researchers focus on the defect of domestic decorative ba se paper,there have been targeted solutions decorative paper printing effects,f'unctional req uirements,papermaking technology and other issues,and providing many practical scheme to improving the performance of domestic decorative base paper.Surface coating process is an excellent choice to improve the performance of paper,which has a mature theoretical su pport,improve the technical reserves,but based on the lack of adequate surface coating pro cess to improve decorative base paper,so this paper wish homemade quality decorative bas e paper by coating technology to improve the performance of decorative base paper,and co ating analysis anchored,rich decorative paper coating structure theory.This paper intended to optimize the ratio of hardwood pulp and softwood pulp(oven-d ry ratio of 4:1),respectively,beating to the beating degree of 38%,after mixing,then adde d a concentration of 20%titanium dioxide fillers and additives papermaking decorative bas e paper,which used blade coating technique in paper surface to coat different coating pig ments,including titanium dioxide,silica,alumina,nano-silicate,clay and other pigments,t hen gravure printing performed after surface finishing,and impregnation platen.Coated dec orative base paper tested the physical properties according to national standards;measuring the density of different pigment coating decorative paper which had been printing.Using a variety of structural analysis methods to get coated decorative papers scanning electron mic rographs,AFM diagram,pore size distribution,the dynamic penetration characteristics,bas ed on Matlab software analysis printing color three-dimensional map.This paper the performance of homemade decorative base meet national standards dec orative paper(quantitative,roughness,highly absorbent,air permeability and dry/wet tensi le strength),control the different pigments coating amount above 10g/m2.After the decora tive base paper coating process,the paper tightness,smoothness,highly absorbent and dry/wet tensile strength improve,porosity reduction.Pigment particles can fill the pores of pap er,which increase tightness,smoothness.It can form a uniform pore structure and highly ab sorbent paper fibers to improve the paper.Cationic starches and adhesives effectively impro ved the bonding strength between the fibers of the paper and form a smooth film on the pap er surface,and improved the overall smoothness of paper and tensile strength.Comparing different pigment coated paper CMY color density values can found that coated silica,alumi na,mixed titanium and silica,mixed titanium and alumina decorative base paper has impro ved color density,and tone range increased.Wherein the silicon dioxide pigment coated de corative paper printing performance improvement is best,because porous silica has excelle nt ink absorption,which can be uniformly dispersed in the coating,the coated paper formed a smooth coating,which will help the ink fixation.Comprehensive analysis all of the samp les,paper coated with silicon dioxide have best improving effect.Paper coating structural a nalysis,scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy direct observation of de corative paper surfaces;capillary flow pore size distribution were studied,dynamic permea bility(water,isopropanol dynamic permeability characteristics,CiCt value and the T95 val ue),multi-angle analysis of paper porosity structure;drawing paper based decorative gravur e color three-dimensional image,visualization expression of the coating structure of the pri nting effects.
