The "Smart Environmental Protection"project being proposed by Jianye District Government of Nanjing is a significant component in the construction of "Smart Jianye".The establishment of smart IOT system for environmental protection that would meet the demands of primary district environmental protection departments is the actual requirements to improve environmental management ability and level of modern city in Jianye district.Taking IOT of "Smart Environmental Protection" in Jianye District as the research object,this paper has comprehensively discussed its conception and the function in city management.What's more,there are some problems and deficiencies existed in current environmental protection work of primary environmental protection departments,which include non-unified data standard,low utilization,bad normalization,poor update,single monitoring method etc..Actual demand of environmental protection affairs in Nanjing Jianye District has been combined and modern information technology has been used in this paper to plan,design and build the automatic monitoring system of water environment for "smart environmental protection".In addition,some elements in the process of construction which include stationing number of inductor,section,parameter,frequency,equipment selection method,operation and maintenance guarantee etc.have been studied;the program that software platform of automatic monitoring system of water environmental protection for "smart environmental protection" should be integrated and applied in mobile APP terminal system has been proposed.This paper has designed and verified the judgement principle of original data effectiveness of automatic monitoring system for water environment,that is to say,the data would be invalid when the difference between chemical oxygen demand and ammonia nitrogen exceeds 100%and the difference between dissolved oxygen is greater than 0.5 and exceeds 500%.By analyzing the actual result of river improvement and water environment management in north Hexi of Jianye District through automatic monitoring system operation of water environment for "smart environmental protection",this paper has evaluated its actual value in use and effect,so as to prove that this system has exceedingly positive effects on environment management efficiency and effect improvement.In this paper,deficiencies and and defects in initial operational process of automatic monitoring system of water environment for "smart environmental protection"have been analyzed and the conception to modify this system in later period has also been proposed.
