"Sintering is a nutritionist of the blast furnace" is the service aim of Shougang Jingtang sintering plant.Sinter ore is a vital raw material for blast furnace,the proportion accounted for about 64%,therefore the quality of sinter ore has a direct impact on the quality of steel.In the sintering production,Burning Through Point(BTP)is a very important status parameter.Improper control of BTP,is one of the main factors influencing the sinter productivity and quality of sinter.The suitable position and keeping stabilization of BTP can improve product ratio,but because the sintering production has a long-time lag,at present there is no equipment which can be used to measuring the position of BTP directely.Based on complexity of sintering mechanism and dynamic change of sintering production,it is difficult to establishe aecurate mathematical model of the BTP position.Therefore,the control of BTP is always a difficult problem in sinter plant automation for a very long time.This paper takes Shougang Jingtang 550m2 sintering machine as the study object.The main difficulties in BTP control problem is summarized based on analysise of the mechanism in sintering process.BTP control stategy is proposed in order to achieve the stability of BTP and to realize the optimal control of the BTP.To determine the control algorithm the accurate controlled object must be determinely firstly.But as the controlled object in this paper,the BTP position cannot be measured directly.In the research of BTP position,due to BTP cannot be detected on-line,a method is developed based on the BRP(Burn Risng Point)which indirectly influence BTP position,the BTP short-time prediction model is developed,which can overcome the difficulties such as the long-time delays and BTP can't measure accurately in this paper.Secondly,based on fuzzy control theory and the fuzzy mathematics theory,a fuzzy feedforward controller is designed,which can change operator's experience and excellent sintering experts into machine language.Based on Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE configuration software and Controllogix 5000 Series PLC control system,BTP intelligent control system is designed.Using Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL 2008 software,the development of forecasting model and control algorithm is achieved.After the application of BTP intelligent control system,BTP remains relatively constant.The control system has a good anti-interference,improving the sintering condition and the quality of sinter.
